Empowering Tomorrow: Innovate, Connect and Thrive in the Digital Economy

At PKNPk, the Digital Economy is more than technology adoption, it is a commitment to shaping opportunities, empowering communities, and building a sustainable, inclusive digital ecosystem for Perak. Through strategic initiatives and collaborations, PKNPk champions innovation that connects people, businesses and industries, transforming Perak into a digital powerhouse aligned with the Perak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030.

The Perak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030 has identified four (4) strategic thrusts, eight (8) strategies, and twenty-one (21) programmes. The four strategic thrusts include:

  • Accessibility to quality digital infrastructure
  • Digitally savvy public administration
  • Vibrant digitally enabled business ecosystem
  • Digitally enabled community/citizens

Five (5) catalytic programmes have been identified as crucial to achieving the objectives and targets above. They encompass infrastructure development, a centre of excellence (CoE), a digital services cluster, cashless payments and public sector digitalisation.

Our approach embraces both the state's priorities and global best practices, ensuring that every digital initiative from smart governance to digital entrepreneurship contributes to real impact and long-term growth.

At the core of our mission lies hyperconnectivity, linking people, organisations and technology to unlock value and drive progress. We cultivate innovation and opportunity across key sectors including logistics, digital trade, citizen services, manufacturing and Industry 4.0, agriculture and digital services, empowering Perak's transition into a connected, future-ready economy.

Building Digital Infrastructure Today for a Prosperous Tomorrow

Also in line with the principles of Industrial Revolution 4.0 that many key digital based organisations around the world adopt, our robust digital infrastructure aims to realise the potential to achieve higher GDP performance, better the quality of human capital through employment creation, reduce the income gap of the citizens of Perak which will eventually reduce poverty and wealth disparity, maximising high potentials industries and its connectivity while minimising the ecological impact through smart digitalisation.

As the driving force behind our initiative, Digital Perak and Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan (KUDR), in collaboration with various private and public organisations, undertake significant flagship projects. These projects include the commencement of the Ipoh Smart City Initiative, where we address urbanisation challenges faced by the people of Ipoh and realise Ipoh as a Green and Low-Carbon City by 2030 through the adoption of Smart Living, Smart Environment, Smart Governance, Smart People, Smart Digital Infrastructure, Smart Economy and Smart Mobility.

Clicks @ Perak App

Perak's digital payment infrastructure is strengthened through Digital Perak's Clicks@Perak ecosystem, enabling secure and seamless cashless transactions for businesses and communities. Its advanced e-wallet app has already facilitated over RM1 million in transactions and is now being introduced across university and schools statewide to support the rollout of cashless initiatives.

Built with 'super app' capabilities, it is undergoing phased enhancements to integrate a broader suite of services, including promotional alerts, news and tourism updates and targeted assistance delivery, positioning it a comprehensive digital touchpoint for the people of Perak.

KUDR Atas Talian (KUDRAT)

In contrast, our latest meaningful platform, named KUDRAT, was created to aim for an integrated solution as a One Stop Agency (OSA) for more planned utility management throughout the state.
